I chose to start again.

Because going deeper mattered more than staying comfortable.

25+ years of hands-on clinical bodywork taught me one thing: the body tells the truth before the person does. I retrained as a psychotherapist to sit with what's underneath not just release it temporarily. Trained in relational, embodied therapy informed by Gestalt principles. The body tells the truth first.

Before I trained as a therapist, I spent over 25 years as a massage therapist. Thousands of sessions. Thousands of women. And I noticed something I couldn’t unsee: women would come in carrying tension they couldn’t name. Their shoulders held conversations they never had. They were outwardly capable and inwardly overwhelmed.

Why I retrained.

What they were looking for wasn’t another strategy or tool. It was a place to exhale. That’s why I retrained. Not because massage wasn’t valuable but because I wanted to go deeper.

To sit with what was underneath the tension.

To help women understand what is actually happening in their nervous system and patterns.

Starting over took courage.

I chose supervision, training, and study because going deeper mattered more than staying comfortable. That is the same courage I see in every person who reaches out.

I know what it costs to begin again.

And I know what becomes possible when you do.

How I work.

My approach is relational, embodied, and informed by Gestalt principles. I pay attention to what’s happening in your body, your breath, your patterns not just your words. I value pacing, consent, and collaboration. I work with a small number of clients. Weekly therapy requires consistency and I take that seriously.

Focus areas: burnout, career transitions, identity strain, emotional overwhelm, relational patterns, grief, anxiety, and high performance and private exhaustion.

If any of this resonated, the next step is a conversation.
